A key to bettering yourself is knowing when you should have freedom and when to be a servant. You should be free from all evil; however, you should be a servant for all things that are good, such as love, honesty, righteousness, faith, kindness, etc. Having absolute freedom means you will turn to dark deeds, but being an absolute slave means that you will be a slave to evil.

A balance is needed.

Exercise can be a valuable self-help strategy. Research has shown that exercise can drastically reduce symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). Though it is not clear why, women who engage in aerobic activities on a regular basis are much less affected by common symptoms of PMS, like irritability, mood swings, and depression.



Improve your ability to create and adhere to a realistic, well-planned schedule for work, home, and social events. If you often find yourself running out of time, adjust your daily agenda to include at least 25 percent of your time unoccupied by any one specific activity.
This gives you a sort of buffer that can be used to accommodate tasks that run over their allotted time.

Do one thing at a time. Much has been made of the ability to multi-task, and most of us do it. However, you'll be much more satisfied if you start one task and focus on that one task until it's completed. You can give everything in your life the attention it deserves.



You need to have a better understanding of what you believe in. Justifying your beliefs is a way to do this. It is always fulfilling to have facts and examples to back up your belief system. You are more credible to your peers if you have something to say about your beliefs.


Use sex to treat stress! Believe it or not, it is not just for making babies or having a good time with your significant other. It is a sure fire way to eliminate the stress that you carry around from your everyday life. It is the most relaxing thing that you can do when you feel stressed.


Be solutions oriented. There are two types of people in the world: those that constantly throw up problems without offering solutions and those that communicate the issues at hand and offer solutions. The latter is who you want to be. Leaders are solutions-oriented.

Have reasons and stick to them. Adhering to ideology and belief systems blindly makes you look shallow to others. If you find a component of your knowledge base is essential to your sense of self, you should prepare to defend your position with confidence.

When you are in a rut, think outside of the box. We often internalize ways of thinking that can be limiting. If you approach unfamiliar situations with a creative perspective, you might find that you can handle problems differently than your peers. Raising your self confidence can be difficult, however, start by having realistic expectations.
